I've been curious about how much various clones of cultivars might have 'drift' from the original (re: "adjusting" to growing conditions different from the source garden). Were your two clones from different sources & do you have any reason to think there might have been differences?
I had two different clones of Immortality, one in my former garden and one in my present garden. Of course, one of the MDBs was 'Ditto' and two different clones in both gardens have rebloomed. (I have the records of several years in notebooks that I can retrieve but not today when a big nap is far more important). :-)
