HYB:REB:Sunlight Dependent & Independent

I brought this discussion to iris talk for those that might be interested,
but don't get iris photos.

This is the same for SDB, & TB cultivars! Daylight dependent rebloomers
would be the cyclic class? The ones that have a relatively dependable fall
bloom cycle?

The so called ever-bloomers, which I think are just stronger sporadic
bloomers, and the sporadic class would all fall in the daylight independent class.

All of the things that bloomed for me this summer (KY zone 6), including
the seedlings, would fit into the daylight independent group. I've kept
records on an Excel sheet by the month. These are the irises that bloomed for me
in July (this year): Again & Again, All Revved Up, Diamond Blush, Immortality,
Lord of Rings, Lunar Whitewash, October Sky, Pink Attraction, Pure As Gold,
Renown, Violet Miracle. Several seedlings.

For the record, we've had some really hot & humid weather the last two
summers and some of the blooms (not many) turned brown and dried up without
opening.

Last year, Total Recall & Cantina bloomed in July. In the past I've had
summer bloom from Feed Back & Sugar Blues.

Pure As Gold has bloomed in July only, the last two years. I suspect it may
be a repeat rather than cycle or sporadic. (daylight dependent or
independent) Not sure where the repeats fall in sunlight or rhizome growth needs.

I don't grow all rebloomers, most obvious are the purple plicatas.
