Hello Linda
You're up so early!
I like Mid summer's eve, cos i'm after median irises with proportionate
flowers. Same thing with Ocrober Splendor.
May be you could use Splash of Raspberries =(Far Corners X Mulled Wine.) It
doesn't rebloomed, but the genes are good! I'll send the picture to
iris-photo as soon as i finish my message to you.
In fact it's great we don't all have the same intrest and focus, because all
put together we explore a very wide range of possibilities!
Still i think it's great we share very precise experience, it's always good
to know more, even if it's not immediately usable. We're not after
"recipes", we have to invent everything everyday, but you never know what
can trigger ideas.

Trouble with MIDSUMMER'S EVE is that it has the 'short' genes, which seem
to be in nearly every pink rebloomer around. Or at least the ones that
will tolerate our climate/growing conditions ('the vale of despair' <g>).
I think I have it - will check.
RETURNING CHAMELEON (and unfortunately both parents) is short also, but at
least it's a TB, and there might be something here by next bloom season
with height that would be a good match.
I'm not specifically breeding for color (or rebloom, for that matter) yet,
just trying to get several lines going that thrive and bloom reliably in
my growing conditions and that have <potential> to produce rebloom
children (or grandchildren) in colors other than white or blue-purple or
light yellow.
Do you know the pink MIDSUMMER'S EVE ?
i sent the picture last week,
it's ( IMMORTALITY X ENCHANTED WORLD)
ENCH. WORLD= (Flaming Dragon x Pink Horizon) X (Glazed Orange x Radiant
Light).
that should tickle RET. CHAMELEON's pink genes shouln't it? may be too
orange ?
Midsummer's Eve reblooms early, in September, the best in fact cos
blazing summer is over, and frost is still far in the future .
