Whatever happened to the AIS's plans to set up a list of people available to
give programs and what their programs were? I remember that someone in AZ
was in charge of it. I sent my information in but never heard anything else
about it.

Listening to all the email chatter out there about presentations, it seems
like a lot of people including me have developed programs for their clubs.
It
is too bad there is not a place where clubs can preview these
presentations
(if the programs are on the computer) and borrow them. Maybe the AIS can
set
something up. If you want the presentations, then you can send AIS $10.
I
will never create a program on Siberian or Japanese Irises. They don't
grow
well in my part of the world (southern NM). Yet it might be nice to see a
powerpoint presentation. Similarly, Arilbreds are probably foreign to
Canada.
Scarlett, I'm so glad you brought this up!!! Janet Smith is the new AIS
Slide/CD Program Chair as of this month and that very things is high on her
PLAN
to offer to AIS members. The Slide Committee has been watching this
discussion with GREAT interest! We are also in the process of contacting
the
Sections to provide expert "specialty" programs.
The January AIS Bulletin Notice for the AIS Slide/Programs ends with:

me
and web
ll see about incorporating it into the AIS Slides Program!
