That would have been too early to account for bloom on Aug 22. Likely plants
not matue enough at that time to be triggered by that cool spell.
According to Knoxville weatehr in 2006, you also had the 6 days of temp inb
range 26-21 C on July 17-27th. This could could count for Summer rebloom
trigger.

Chuck, re: 22 Aug 2006 bloom of STAR GATE.
Using the weather underground historic data for Knoxville TN, ~50 miles
north of here, there was a front that came thru our area, presumably
came thru this far south, last week of June, first few days of July,
that dropped nighttime low temperature into the mid-60s F.
Frost pocket here could have been as much as 5oF colder (i.e., 50s F),
based on past experience/observation.
