Well, my irises have had a rough year. First we moved, in February, then they languished in their wal-mart bags for months because my husband had heart surgery. Finally, most of them got planted, but by then the dry part of summer had set in, and it didn't start raining again until after the first frosts. Now, we have gotten the word that the property we are renting is to be sold. Our situation is dire, so we will be applying for public housing. I don't think there's going to be anywhere for any irises, much less my seedlings and continuing efforts at hybridizing. This leaves me with a question. What can I do with the irises and seedlings that I do have? Burning would be the most efficient, I'm sure, but I don't think I have an appropriate burn site. Any ideas? christian --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
