Immortality initiates growth of flower stalk as soon as it gets bud set. Thus the term instantaneous. Preferential vernalization rebloomers about 5 months after bud set.
I suspect blooming resets vernalization state. for whenever rebloomers I suspect that increases grow so fast that the increases are too large to respond to reset signal from blooming fan.

plus fall cycle. It's constant production of a ton of small increases ensures that it will have fans in all stages of development (weather permitting) all year long. So some of them will get their 5 months of growing season, plus the bulk of rebloom in the fall. Chuck, any reason not to think that the '5 months' isn't an average? Sorry, too many negatives in one sentence... just wondering if it could be possible to push genetics for faster growth, get that interval down to 4 (or even 3). Based on what I used to know about the tradeoff between disease resistance and growth rate, it seems like that wouldn't be easy for a plant to do. What's the interval for Forever Blue? Could it be the same genetics as the CA type, but with an extremely short interval needed for maturity, since it's an SDB, lots of fans always present?
