Carolyn, Not sure if you have heard that Cooley's are actively pursuring
a red iris. They have a grant with Oregon State University to make this
happen. If anyone, they have the resources and financing to *make it
so*. Maybe the *Maytag Red* won't be far off. Want to call Cooley's
and suggest a name!
