I am a member of the Iris- Society of Florenze, Italy.As you might know
the City of Florence is awarding a special price every year for the best
"red" iris amongst those in competition, because the red iris is the
flower in the coat of arms of Florence.
All those letters about a geranium-red Iris had made me really wonder.
