Anna, go cut your stalk of PEACH JAM, right now, and let those unopened buds
unfold in the warm quiet peace of your house. Why not enjoy it where you can
watch it up close, out of the wind and rain?

Hello All!
A few weeks ago I wrote the list to tell them I finally had a rebloomer
that was in bud. I said it was WARRIOR KING and I would like to thank
all of you for not calling me out on that! I was right when I thought WK
wasn't a rebloomer. It turned out to be my long lost PEACH JAM that had
never ever bloomed and was assumed dead. I nursed it through several
frosts and it took forever to bloom, I noticed a couple of days ago it
wasn't coloring up like I expected and Today on the worst possible day
(a near nor'easter) it chooses to bloom. I was out there in pelting rain
and high winds taking photos of the slightly bedraggled thing. There are
about 4 more buds on the stalk and maybe one will open on a decent day
if it lasts that long. Funny how a little thing like this can raise
one's spirits, but I guess that's why we do it. Anna in NJ where the
weather is windy and raining like heck
