I would like to add CONSTANT COMPANION to the above list and also
suggest to Floridians they they try some of the ultra vigorous IB's like
this one. CC is a deep purple with an even deeper fall spot and an
'electric' blue beard nestled in a white arc. CC is out of VIOLET
MIRACLE, which seems to be THE 'progenitor' of modern reblooming irises.
Maybe, when we get a searchable database Checklist, we can find out how
many times VIOLET MIRACLE has been a parent in producing rebloomers. I
would venture a guess that VM has now surpassed GIBSON GIRL and CAYENNE
CAPERS as a 'progenitor.'
