This is true... many people do not belong to anything more than the AIS. In
our region, AIS members automatically become members of a local club at no
extra cost.... BUT, if they wish to belong to any club other than the one
they're assigned to by virtue of address, then they need to actively pursue
joining.
In Region 2, if you join AIS you receive all those benefits PLUS all the
Region 2 benefits (and newsletter) PLUS membership in the local club and all
those benefits plus their local newsletter. Not a bad deal for $18.
