I've seen siberians growing and blooming well in Memphis and thats as far S.
 Are you planting them deep enough and keeping them watered well until the
are really growing after transplanting?  The rhizomes should be 2-3" deep.  A
mulch would help a great deal in a hotter climate. Anna Mae Miller,
