You've got me, Walter. Though I faintly recollect it, I can't identify
it. Sounds like Thomas Moore, or someone of his time. Latterly, of
course, it could be Flanders and Swann. Whoever it was, I like it. Too
bad we don't have sound. I'd like to hear your rendition. (I tried to
cheat by calling the library, but they close early on Fridays -- cheap
so-and-so's).
