Welcome to the list, Brenda! I hope you are also acquainted with the
Canadian Iris Society?
I'm going to the Denver convention, if I have to hitch-hike, and hope to see
you here!
You can expect: lots of irises in convention gardens (blooming, Mother
Nature permitting!), interesting bus rides to and from the gardens, with a
chance to meet other iris lovers from accross the world, "section" meetings
in the evenings, having to do with Japanese irises, Siberian irises,
Historic irises, etc., lots of good food everywhere, with resulting weight
gain, lots of good fellowship ... and becoming hopelessly addicted to iris
conventions, as well as growing irises. You can learn a lot, and have a lot
of fun as well.
Mark your calendar!
