Walter, you are an artist.
You know, I am a little slow, and so it took me a few months of reading
iris-L to realize these strange squiggles folks sent from time to time were
pictures that I could enjoy, too, if I re-set my e-mail program's display
font. Folks who are even less computer literate than I am may not have even
thought about the font in which their program shows them their mail, and so
may not realize they can change it.
I'm not saying every e-mail program lets you change your display font. I
don't know enough about all the various programs to make such an assertion.
But I do know many programs will let you switch screen fonts, and easily.
You may have to search around on your tool bar for the Settings or
Preferences menu.
If all you see here is a weird bunch of squiggles, just for fun, find your
settings control and switch your display font to Courier, if you have it.
Courier is a common font that spaces characters uniformly. If you don't
have Courier, experiment until you find a font that lets you see the lovely
cake Walter "drew."
It might be helpful if our ASCII artists would mention which font they have
designed such images in.
It's a beaut, Walter!
