Bill hi! I have three of your ferraria undulata. All three have strappy,
grasslike leaves, the largest about 18 inches tall. They're in moderately
moist, peat-based potting soil in a west-facing window (my only southern
exposure is a sentry cat post).
The leaves flop sideways. Last week I inserted props and tied the foliage
to keep it upright. I am concerned that they're falling over because I'm
not giving them enough sun. Is that probable, or are these the kind of
plants that tend to topple? The Christmas cactus and the "bilburgea"
(spelling?) on the same sill look terrific.
No bloomstalks yet, but I'm in no hurry. I have my orchid spikes to hover over.
