I have ordered from him and I was very pleased with the quality.
His shipping season is June to September - the bulbs dormant season, so
bookmark or get a listing for Next Year.
There is also an article on SA bulbs in Martha Stewart Living - October
issue.
In the SF bay area we can grow these bulbs outdoors in pots or in the
ground - some border on invasive they multiply so well. Lately Babiana, Ixia,
Sparaxis, Watzonia and others are showing up consistently in Garden Centers and
even Discount Warehouse's like Home Cheapo.

Not sure where you can get these now. I bought mine from Richard Doutt
before he sold his business. Check his book for possible sources. Some
bulb houses like McClure and Zimmerman carry Lachenalia, at least.
