What is the picture to be used for? This will determine the file size
needed (resolution) for printing on a laser printer you only need 85 line
resolution. This can be adjusted in photoshop under file-size change to
about 120 or so, you can adjust the resolution and view the actual file
size result at the same time in this window. When you save the photo save
it as a TIFF if possible and it may be somewhat smaller. If you need any
