I. Albicans is that white Bearded iris you see all over south 
Carrolina in the spring.  I am sure some of the historical ones 
would grow for you .  I'll have to make a list of bearded ones that 
grow in our area.  I know Grandpas Girl, Lady Friend,  Brother 
Carl, Sunny Dispostion, Winter wonderland, Thornbird, Agnes Hale,  I. 
Pallida, July Sunshine,  and Jesse's  Song.  That should help you 
with a bearded collection.  Frankly I prefer beardless and species.  
Of course don't forget the old ones. Develop your own line if you 
have the room.  Remind me in the summer I will send you some on that 
list.  

I am sure R. Turley and Walter in Mississippi can get you real good 
advice.
