Instead of being at the Fri night chat I was at our monthly Iris Club
meeting. We had a presentation on iris pests and diseases by John
Weiler. Aside from his expertise in this area and his broad collection
of rebloomers, he brought us some South African Irids that he has
painstakingly clooected and cultivated.
I was fortunate enough to aquire Ferraria Crispa, and Sparaxis Tricolor.
I have seen pictures of each and have some basic culture on each, but
was wondering if anyone has any more knowledge of either of these.
On another subject, I have (or had) the following rebloom so far this
fall:
Witch of Endor
Ecume
Pure As Gold
Glee Club
Gold Speculator
St. Petersburg
Honey Glazed
Angels Blush
Cinderella's Coach
and the old standby
Crimson King
Oh, and I won John Weiler's 97 Intro, Raven's Return TB RE, in the
drawing and am looking forward to seeing that rebloom next fall.
