marking Iris leaves

When I marked Iris leaves, I uses a "Marks a Lot" wide tip pen. I
always tried to write the name on a leaf toward the middle of a fan. As
the fan grows, that leaf is pushed to the outside, then dies. Normally,
the writing will remain until the leaf dies.
Sharpie Pens do good too. Yes, Wal-Mart does stock them, or at least
the one in Dunnellon does.
