HIST-AR- King of Nepal

Greetings,

Another iris that Dr. Horinaka has inquired about is the quarterbred aril
KING OF NEPAL, hybridized by Rex Brown and introduced by Brown's Iris Garden
in 1961. This iris apparently had brown standards splashed darker, falls that
were dark red brown, but dotted and splashed, and variegated foliage. Neither
Sharon nor Tom know a source for it, and the last listing of the HIPS
DataBank doesn't show it as being grown by a member. lf you happen to have
some information about this plant, would you kindly send it along to me,
please?
