Greenhouse vents, etc.

Christy:

Late Fri. evening I found a website for Charley's Greenhouse Supplies &
sent it to the List (under the old header for Cold Frames):

http://www.charleysgreenhouse.com/index2.html

The address is the same as you posted today (tho the toll free # is
different), so I assume it's the company you told us about. Their online
catalog doesn't list the Thermatic-Vent #3236 unfortunately, just the
more expensive Univent #3508 at $39 each. However, the other might still
be available -- it's easy enough to request a new catalog online.

Thanks also for the info on PVA material & Peaceful Valley. I have a
not-quite-finished front porch with huge (glass) windows to the east &
south that should EVENTUALLY make a great sun room/growing space but
it's going to require fans & vents or it will cook stuff within. Right
now it's still partially open to the weather & also stuffed full of
boxes & junk. Had hoped to finish enclosing it this past summer but...
There's always next year, right?

BTW, your mentioning your lowest outside temp of 11 degrees (F) in Feb.
makes my eyebrows jump. Here that's likely to be the HIGH temp many days
in Dec-Jan-Feb, if we're lucky. Just a little reminder of how different
conditions can be for various List members.

Marte in the mtns Zone 4/Sunset 1 Colorado -- where the sun was
out & snow was bombing down from the trees all day long. Temp 30F 5 pm.
