Whether brown (or any other color) is fashionable or not should have no
bearing on the selection of the Queen of Show or any other horticultural
award at an iris show, since judges are not supposed to allow their
personal likes and dislikes to affect their decisions, but make their
selections on how well the stalks entered have been grown and presented.

Where TENNESSEE WOMAN was Queen of Show at our Iris Show this year, and the
public couldn't figure out why when there were so many "prettier' iris
entered.
