Dear Marte,
I don't know what they have mislabled at Denver Botanic Gardens, but
GINGERBREAD MAN is not a TB.  It is a SDB introduced by Bennett Jones in 1969.
The description is "Deep brown self; blue-purple beard."  Height is 13 inches.
This iris won the Cook-Douglas Medal for SDBs in 1974.
