TB: art shades?

As some of the discussion in this thread has implied, these "art shades"
are the result of the blended effects of multiple pigments in the flowers,
the subtle balance of which is very sensitive to environmental conditions.
Therefore, beauty may not be only in the eye of the beholder, but may
result from real differences in the expression of colors under different
conditions, and a "dirty sock" in one locale may turn out to be "charteuse
to lime, and golden olive green" elsewhere.

tones?

Christy,

The "art shade" admirers in these parts swoon over JUNGLE SHADOWS, a Sass
BB introduced in 1960 that is described as "blended brown-gray and purple
with brown beard".

I find the SIB, SWIRLING LAVENDER (Anna Mae Miller, '84) to be a subtle,
sophisticated and satisfying blend of silvery sea mist lavender-gray.

Speaking of which; Anna Mae, are you still with us? I have not noticed a
posting from you in some while.
