Re: REB: CLARENCE is a winner; so is SUKY

From: "Mike Sutton" <suttons@lightspeed.net>

Hi Walter and everyone else,
I just had a cross from CLARENCE X RECURRING DREAM bloom, quite nice, very
large billowy ruffles, similar to RECURRING DREAM form but a lighter blue
with a pale blue zonal area. Good branching and bud count. CLARENCE is a
wonderful flower, especially when it is overcast. It reblooms from August
till freeze here. Looks just as good in fall as it does in the spring,
sometimes nicer.
Just so you know the broken color seedling has not put out a rebloom
stalk, just some nice increases. I do have a very nice stalk coming on one
of its siblings, looks to be a color breaker also but we will shall see.
Don't have any idea why the colorbreaking is coming through but two in one
cross is significant to me. Will have to pursue this line more!
SUKY is also a very nice flower, haven't seen any rebloom on it this
year yet. White reprise is blooming away so I am waiting for SUKY.
Mike
