OT: HIPSource Request--Three Hankies

From: HIPSource@aol.com

Greetings,

I have received a phone call tonight from a lady in Fresno, California, who is
planting her last iris garden. She has received a diagnosis of terminal
illness. This lady has been trying to get a rhizome of DRADY since she saw it
in the Maryott catalog this Spring, but it sold out there immediately and she
has had no luck anywhere. Someone finally told her to join HIPS to find it,
which she did, and she was in due course referred to me. Now, I've got this
iris but mine was a first year plant last year and bloomed too heavily. I have
two small increases at this point and do not expect bloom next year--which is
when it needs to bloom--or I'd just dig it up and send it to her. Since she is
in California she can still plant. If anyone can spare a mature rhizome of
DRADY for this lady, would you please drop me a note at your earliest
convenience.

We thank you.
