I need to correct some mis-information that I shared with you about the talk
that I heard Rick Tasco give on Thursday night. I do need to take better
notes and I think that I am going to get my hearing checked this week.
The black lacy cultivar is not DREAM EXPRESS. The color of this iris is
plum-purple with a magenta undertone. The one asked about is HOLLYWOOD
NIGHTS and its arrival has been delayed because of expected demand.
The incredible amoena is ROYAL STORM. The falls are a dark sheened purple.
The standards while near white have a light blue cast.
And my apologies go to Keith Keppel. His cultivar that hs produced the
sport with the varigated foliage is HUMORESQUE. I am told that this was his
very first introduction.
Now I am out to the garden to weed before the first of our winter rains
arrive.
