	I have to agree with this.  We solarized for the first time this year
and the soil on the solarized beds has stayed much looser and lighter
making it much easier to weed the few weeds that have come up. 
Unfortunately, solarizing does not seem to slow down bind weed at all
(it even continued to grow under the plastic in some places) nor did it
do more than minimal damage to the wild bermuda.  However, all of the
other weeds were significantly cut down and the bermuda was damaged.  I
don't know why the texture was changed but that alone would make it
worthwhile solarizing.  I also noticed a difference in the growth of the
iris but that could be partially caused by several other changes made
also.  All in all solarizing is great!
