Thank you for the description of the Ozy tour. What a treat!
I too have fallen into the realm of people charmed by George and Margaret
Sutton. This past spring while Mr and Mrs Cy Barton were visiting from
England, the 4 were out for a drive to observe the native Pacific Coast Iris
blooming on the hills of Northern California. They ended up at the Portland
iris show as it was only a couple more hours on down the road. (Make that 200
miles.)
I'm sure you enjoyed the couple extra days of garden viewing.
