Dear Jan,
I am glad you tried the"spit method" once. Since Mr. Burseen didn't say
how he applied said spit, I moistened my index finger with it. Mr. Moores
said he had had very poor results with a cotton swab , so I would think that
maybe it absorbed too much of the moisture, and thus was not effective. I
would like to hear from others next spring as to whether it works or not and
how they do it.
