Pat,
I. pseudacorus variegata is offered by Iris City Gardens, 502 Brighton
Place, Nashville, TN 37205. Email: Icity@msn.com
I. Gerald Darby (a versicolor x virginica hybrid) is available from The
Iris Gallery, 33450 Little Valley Rd., Ft. Bragg, CA 95437. Phone:
1-800-757-IRIS. I am not sure how this one would grow in the Rocky Mountain
region. I saw in at the Denver Botanic Garden when I was over there for the
AIS Convention, and I was not too favorably impressed. The purple color had
almost completely faded away and the plant didn't look too thrifty.
