This seems and odd trait. My hair is doing the opposite - started out
one color and is beginning to variegate. Do many plants do this? The
variegated pallida stays variegated season long. Other variegated
plants I'm familiar with may put on a solid leaf occasionally or even
put up solid green shoots, but the variegated portions do no change.
What causes this?
