This is one year that I thought I would have only one iris to rebloom.
This because in addition to our awful summer, George Sutton said (in his talk
to the Fort Worth I.S.) that you must not let the ground dry out where
rebloomers are planted,
and you must fertilize them after each bloom pd. We took a vacation to
Colorado
to escape the heat so they didn't get watered for a couple of weeks. There
was no summer bloom in my yard (they do not seem to like 100 plus max. and 90
min.for extended time) so they had no fert. Low Ho Silver, as usual, has
bloomed for two months, but now others have joined in! At present I have
Barndance, Bonus Mama,
Priscilla of Corinth, Mill Byers, Rosalie Figge, and Smell the Roses. What a
nice surprise! Pat in
Dallas
