I don't have any details, Linda, and I cannot volunteer to get them right now,
but I this year I accepted a donation of older irises from Chatham Manor in
Fredericksburg, VA--due south of DC-- for the display and study plantings at
the Y2K AIS Convention in Dallas and the HIPS Y2K Convention in upstate New
York. In the course of chatting over the subject the horticulturalist in
charge of the garden, who is severely restricted in what chemical controls he
can use in the public areas, said he had used nematodes from Gardens Alive in
the past and thought they had been somewhat effective. There were borers in
shadier areas of the garden this year, but he said he had not treated them in
a couple of years. For what any of that is worth.....
