Sorry I finally read the instructions on how to participate and I had failed
to introduce myself.
I live in Albuquerque, NM zone 6, latitude 35 degrees, about
5500 feet above sea level. We fairly often have 40 degree fluctuations.
Lately its been 20 degrees at night and 60 in the day time. Boy are the
plants confused. Its not real good for rebloomers cause they freeze.
I'm a member of the AIS, NMIS, AIG, SIGNA, and soon to be member of the Aril
Society International. Scott did you see that. I'm the secretary of the NMIS
and the President of the AIG.
I don't really specialize in any type of iris because I love them all. I now
grow 315 varieties of TB, BB, IB, MTB, SDB, MDB, Louisianas, and Spec and
Hist. I also grow bulb iris. Iris is my favorite flowers but I also grow 450
types of perennials including water lilies and cactus. I don't discriminate.
I am an avid collector of ...
I also love to talk about any type of gardening. So if you just want to
visit drop me aline.
