Yes, we had open house for our congregation week ago today, and the greatest
topic of conversation was the labels on the iris in the front flower bed as they
came to the door.  Some asked if  that was the way I told the flowers from the
weeds! :>)  I have galvanized tin rectangles hanging from wire for my markers,
with labels printed on a hand labeler, with hybridizer, year of introduction,
kind of iris (TB, SDB, etc) and name of cultivar. I educated some of the people
on the different kinds of iris, etc, so guess it was worth while after all they
made fun of them.

Pat in CO, where we also have 20 degrees swings from in the 20's at night to in
the 60's in the daytime.
