Re: CULT: planting seeds
From: Dennis Kramb <dkramb@badbear.com>
Diana & Walter, I forgot to mention a few things about my seeds.
They have been in warm/dry/dark storage in a closet in my house since they
were picked. Cincinnati has been consistently getting freezing night time
temperatures, but occasionally some days reach into the 70's still. (Very
unusual for November!)
My seeds are planted in small pots outside in full shade. Oh, and I
haven't watered them yet. And there is no rain forecasted for at least the
next 5 days. So I don't expect them to germinate without water.
95% of them are beardeds. The rest are beardless hybrids.
Interestingly enough, some seeds are dark red, others are brown, and others
are tan. I hadn't noticed that when I picked them during the summer.
