When I read the data from
Walter about Loleta Powell and her "Carolina" iris, I was moved to
check my own CAROLINA HONEY, and sure enough, I discovered that was her
creation, too. It's just what the name implies: deep, honey golden-tan,
and a lovely flower, even though pretty old by now. Never a sign of rot,
either.
