Hello Everyone:
Like Ms. Willott in Northern Ohio, I grow I. japonica variegata in pots.
This summer I had a huge clump of it growing in an old urn...set back in a
corner. It really got rave reviews from garden visitors. In the five or
six years I've grown it, mine has never bloomed. But, that does not bother
me.
I over-winter mine in a coldframe since I do not have a greenhouse.
