Irises in Middle East

I was pleased to learn that Razan Hadidi was interested in irises from
the Middle East where they are very threatened by the spread of human
activity. I might mention that there is an expert quite near who has
published quite a lot about the subject and has more information that he
has not yet published. This expert is Dr Michael Avishai, Director of
the Jerusalem Botanic Garden.
