Region 5 held its annual rebloom show in conjuction with the fall meeting. It
was held in Duluth, Georgia (North Atlanta) on October 14. 2000.
Due to the lack of rain, we only had 21 entries. Best in Show went to Joe
Scott Watson of Milledgeville exhibiting "Grace Thomas". The sweepstakes was
won by Lucille Chicvara of Anderson, SC.
(Rick, Roger and Dennis take note) Also winning a blue ribbon was our own
Claire Honkenan of Isle of Palm, SC. She entered a beautiful specimen of
"Omar the Tent Maker" (And Roger worries that we can't grow arilbreds in the
Southeast)
Also this year we had a Design section. There were 4 entries. All deserving
of best in show.
