Linda, this might not be a WYSIWYG photo. It would depend on
the amount of aril blood in the cultivar as well as the 'class.'

TINY PIRATE would be like an SDB. I may have this one confused
with PIRATE'S PATCH.

MARY MCCLELLAN, with only 1/8 or 1/16th aril is like a TB and
would attain a height of 36 to 40 inches with very wide branching
and huge flowers. The leaves and rhizomes of MM indicate no aril
content. The flower shows no aril content. The same goes for
SATAN'S MISTRESS.

TERRY ANN, a quarterbred looks like a TB in foliage and flower.

ZERZURA, which is a half bred, has foliage than tends to 'weep.'

SYRAN PRINCESS shows narrow, upright and pointed foliage that
stands erect. It is a 3/4 bred and looks every bit of that and more.

I have never bloomed a pure aril.

I am sure you could grow arilbreds there unless you live in a
swamp. Heather and Bernard Pryor saw SP in my garden on a
rebloom stalk during Louisiana bloom last spring. Kevin Vaughn,
their escort, was amazed that SP could survive and bloom in MS.

I have seventeen seedlings from Zerzura X Tel Aviv, several of which
will bloom next year. I think this is the best arilbred cross I have
made and have been excited over how well they have grown. I have
never had this many seedlings from an arilbred cross before.
