Re: PHOTO: arilbred irises


Thanks all for photos and for descriptions - Walter, in your case, I
think a thousand words were just as good as a picture <g>.  Larry, they
look like reg'lar ol' iris plants with funny looking flowers.  Maybe a
bit sparser bloom than bearded.

The few arilbreds I've tried to grow here were a swap from a climate
very different from mine.  They barely lived for a season, but they had
teensy rhizomes to start with & I couldn't imagine those tiny rhizomes
producing 'regular' sized plants.  This year, I am trying again with an
old reliable.
