RE:fall rebloomer show

Hi Iris Friends, just a note to say that region 14 held its fall
regional in Campbell Ca on Saturday. The rebloomer show was one of the
largest I can remember, well groomed iris and show very well done. Some
new seedlings showing great promise of interesting rebloomers in our
futures!!  Rick Tasco was the speaker, he also showed slides of very
promosing intros. By the way we had one inch size "hail" yesterday,
stripped everything that it touched, all our wonderful rebloom is just a
memory now!! Hail brought down our cloth roof on iris storing barn,
looked like a winter wonderland for hours yesterday, two wreaks within
minutes took down 30 feet of fence line including iris, roses,etc:
Fortunatly no one was injured. Guess you know what Gordon will be doing
today once he gets off his "real" job!! lorraine at woodland iris
