Oh! Oh! John and the Nicholson's forgot to tell you the most remarkable
thing about the reblooming iris show! It is called DOUBLE CLICK.
Does "Double" give you the Clue?
It was a seedling slated for 2001 introduction... by Joe Ghio. (Now you
know the "double" part) Absolutely the most georgous flower I've seen this
year. I'm guessing it's from Spirit World background... same sort of
coloring.. but ruffled. I mean RUFFLED. AND, to top it off.. it was in
a re-blooming show. Are you sitting down yet? He had brought in two,
well branched stalks. This was an iris that walked into the room with the
Best Seeding ribbon already hanging on it (figuratively speaking). I'm
drooling as I type. I'm just hoping it shows itself as well in the
garden.
