CULT: Enhanced germination

Hello Folks,

Well, the artificial spring engendered by taking the dishes out of the
fridge during the day and putting them back in at night has been going
on for about five weeks now. I would say that I am only having marginal
success at this point. The first week of this and a sprout came up from
the pod that had the stem chewed in two about 5-8 weeks before other
pods of the same age ripened. Whether it was me or a weak seed, it
did not survive transplanting into a pot. Wasn't looking like making it
where it was, so I removed it and tried without success. No others
seeds showed any sign of germinating until the middle of the fourth
week. Now there are six (maybe more) of the same pod sprouting.
There has been one seed (ANACRUSIS X DESERT PLUM) of five seeds
sprout. It pushed the seed out of the perlite and the root made a big
loop in the air. I transplanted this one to a 3 inch pot and put it all in a
baggy. Today it has grown to about an inch tall and looks very good.
My first seedling with an arilbred parent.....two arilbred parents even.
What a burden for that little seed! No sign of sprouting on the other
four seeds or any of the other six pods undergoing the process.

So what now? Do I continue to take them in and out of the fridge for a
while? Give up when? Start over? Plant the remaining seeds the usual
way when I dig all those pill jars out of the freezer and start them the
usual way and wait 'til next spring? I'm not clear at all on where I might
go from this point. All tips will be considered and appreciated.

Thanks
