HYB: germination success & parentage

Has anyone noticed differences in germination success in relation to
whether on not parents were/carried rebloom genes?
Germination was uniformly abysmal last year, but year before last, seeds
from IMMORTALITY X CELEBRATION SONG germinated at a much higher rate
than other crosses.
Was this just a random event, typical variability in all crosses, or do
others see higher rates of germination with rebloomer crosses?
I think that's about all my questions comments for this week....
